Poliedra, together with Fondazione Ecosistemi, supports the Sardinia Regional Authorities in mainstreaming sustainable development principle all along the implementation of 2014-2020 and 2021-2027 ERDF Regional Programme.

In detail, Poliedra manages the coordination of the entire Technical Assistance and is in charge of the implementation of a specific work package to support the Managing and Environmental Authorities for the ERDF Regional Programme orientation towards the environmental sustainability. The activities regard:

• coherence assessment and environmental criteria definition for tenders and other implementation instruments;
• environmental monitoring, following SEA Directive provisions;
• actions for awareness raising and capacity building of regional officials and beneficiaries;
• strategic support of the Programme reviews and of the new ERDF RP 2021-2027.

Within the drafting of ERDF 21-27 Regional Programme, Poliedra supports the Managing Authority in the Strategic Environmental Assessment and in the assessment of compliance with the “Do No Significant Harm – DNSH” principle.

The technical and methodological support activities are also based on the consistency of the ERDF Programme with the UN 2030 Agenda and the National and Regional Strategies for Sustainable Development.

Considering the ERDF contents, the in-depth topics mainly concern: eco-innovation and environmental sustainability of SME, sustainable tourism, energy and sustainable mobility, management of natural resources, sustainable urban and local development.
