Between August and October 2023, Poliedra supported the company Ascolto Attivo in planning and implementing a participatory process concerning the project for a new cable car in the Doganaccia – Corno alle Scale area, connecting the Tuscany and Emilia Romagna’s sides of the Apennines (Municipality of San Marcello Piteglio, Pistoia).

The process involved conducting interviews with various stakeholders in the local community to build a “polyphonic narrative” of the territory and its possible futures. It also included a series of meetings with citizens (online webinars and in-person workshops) during which the vision and strategies for the development and future of the Pistoia mountains were explored, as well as the technical and environmental aspects of the cable car project.
