The SAVE project, funded under by the Energy DG of the European Commission within the SAVE program, involved the Como municipalità and the local research center A. Volta. The effects deriving by the introduction of a road pricing scheme in Como have been studied, also by using dedicated software, and the possibility of integrating the policy scheme with innovative demand-oriented transport modes (car-pooling, taxi-bus, car sharing).
