In 2018-19 Poliedra provided technical support within SICAB (Sino Italian Capacity Building for environmental protection), the Advanced Training Program in environmental management  promoted, in the framework of the bilateral cooperation between Italy and China, by the Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea and led by the Politecnico di Milano in partnership with the Politecnico di Milano Foundation, Sapienza University of Rome, the Euro-Mediterranean Center Foundation on Climate Change and the Italy-China Foundation. 

The Higher Education Program, aimed at Chinese personnel from central institutions, local administrations, universities and the private sector, took place in Italy and China and included training and exchange of scientific and technological knowledge, with the aim of strengthening the capacity of China in the management and decision-making processes regarding the fight against climate change, pollution management, waste disposal, green economy and efficient management of resources (especially energy). SICAB also intended to facilitate the exchange of good practices and promote cooperation projects, including industrial and technological ones, in a context of sharing and mutual benefit.
