[15/3/2019]  The second SmartVillages project meeting has taken place in Saint Jean en Royans, France, hosted by the French partner ADRETS. Poliedra presented the results of WPT-1, led by our Consortium, on the self- assessment of smartness in rural and mountain areas via the use of the Electre Tri multi-criteria analysis method, that has also been the focus of a Master degree thesis in Civil Engineering developed thanks to a collaboration between Poliedra and Politecnico di Milano.

The events included the visit of the Royans-Vercors French Test Area and the presentation of good practices on shared and electric mobility in rural areas. The state of the art of the project’s Digital Exchange Platform (DEP) was also presented: the DEP hosts the project’s forum and creates a collaborative space for the regional stakeholder groups that are active in the six partner countries.

The next SmartVillages events will take place in Slovenia, hosted by the University of Ljubljana. For more information on SmartVillages click here.
