From M4 to M6: the development of Milan’s metro network and the participatory process for the future line

Saturday 19 September, 3:00 pm

Castello Sforzesco – Cortile della Rocchetta

Supporting the design of a major infrastructure project with a participatory process means, above all, creating the conditions for its complexity to be understood and discussed: making technical information accessible, bringing together specialist expertise and local knowledge, engaging citizens, and creating spaces for dialogue where needs, critical issues, opportunities and different perspectives can emerge. This is the process we are developing for the Municipality of Milan, together with Ascolto Attivo and LeftLoft, combining expertise in the design and facilitation of participatory processes, community engagement, communication and design.
