The Green Public Procurement Information Network

Assistance to the Province of Cremona, leader of the LIFE+ GPPinfoNET project, in the organization and management of the Regional Technical office to support the activities of the Regional (Lombardia) Green Purchasing Network.

Its scope is the implementation of a Regional Network, aiming to disseminating information and best practices about GPP through:

  • communication activities and thematic working groups (waste reduction and management strategies; reaching goals of the Kyoto Protocol; eco-labels and environmental management systems in public procurement processes; life cycle costing approach);
  • the implementation and management of the Regional newsletter that includes updates about the project, about new requirements at both National and EU level and about new best practices enabled by the members of the Network.
