The project, funded by the Ministry of Education, University and Research, was featured by the development of a prototypal web platform providing services for freight transport operating companies.

A particular attention has been given to the fleets management issues through monitoring and georeferencing of vehicles, planning of services (including dangerous goods and heavy load trucks) and supporting the processes of intermodal integration in the field of freight transport.

The project allowed SMEs operating in the sector and participating to the project to play an active and real time control on the whole modal chain of equipments (on particular, tank containers).
