Culture and Landscape


The Culture Area works on the concept of cultural landscape intended as development opportunities of innovation and renewal processes based on the knowledge and awareness of the heritage idea, in terms of:

  • Analysis and assessment for landscape and cultural heritage management within programming and planning processes and procedures
  • Conservation and enhancement of both tangible and intangible cultural heritage, of documental heritage such as libraries and historical archives, of visual arts, design and applied arts
  • Educational agendas regarding cultural heritage and cultural identity revival
  • Electronic conversion of cultural information in order to simplify the analysis, understanding and conservation of cultural heritage
  • Studies for the renewal of areas of industrial archaeology, requalification and redevelopment of derelict industrial land
